Prosecutor IDs Pedestrian Killed By Pickup Truck In Morris County

Authorities have identified the woman who died after she and another pedestrian were struck by a pickup truck in Morris County.

Jeaneen Andretta, a 79-year-old Florham Park resident, and the man were  struck by a Ford F-250 at Ridgedale Avenue and Brooklake Road in the township on Monday, July 1, the prosecutor's office and local police said.

The vehicle had been turning onto Ridgedale Avenue from Brooklake Road, police said.

Andretta was pronounced dead at Morristown Medical Center after the crash, while the other pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries, according to authorities.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, authorities said.

The driver was not injured and was released from the scene, while the driver’s vehicle was impounded for further forensic analysis, authorities said.
